World of Robots
Back when we were young, we dreamed that by 2023 there would be robots everywhere. Although it didn't quite work out that way, robots have made their mark in both our reality and our collective imagination. The field of robotics continues to evolve, finding applications in industries like medicine and beyond.
World of Robots, Europe’s largest robot exhibition, is Hellenic Cosmos’ latest addition to their ancient Greece virtual reality shows. You’ll get to see up close impressive replicas of famous fictional robots like the Terminator, WALL-E from Pixar's animated film, R2D2 and C3PO from Star Wars, Transformers, and more. There are also Koko, a robot dog that performs tricks, the hospital service robot AOBO, and the cat robot PUDU that serves tables, as well as other robots which are used to share information or in heavy industry. You can also check out how 3D printers function and witness 3D holograms, a technology that has become popular in film production. Last but not least, you’ll get to learn about AI (artificial intelligence) technology. Sounds like your family outing is all set!
