Alexander Lamont Henderson: 1904 Holiday Snaps
Britain’s Queen Victoria considered Alexander Lamont Henderson quite a photographer and distinguished him for his services. However, most of his work was lost after her death, and the remaining images were destroyed by bombs in the 1940s. What you get to see at this exhibit are probably the only photographs that are left, taken on his trips to the Mediterranean area at the turn of the 19th century.
