Cypress Hill at Release Festival
Even if you don't think you've heard of Cypress Hill, you almost certainly have. Their most famous song, "Insane in the Brain", was all over the radio when it came out in 1993, and its hook is recognisable even today. The group, consisting of members B-Real, Sen Dog and DJ Muggs, have several other hits, including "(Rock) Superstar", "Tequila Sunrise", "I Ain't Goin' Out Like That", and "Throw Your Set in the Air". This legendary hip-hop band is coming to Athens on June 21 as part of Release Athens 2019, a music festival that is going on throughout June. Aussie ex-busker turned beatbox phenomenon DubFX and local hip-hop acts Taf Lathos, 12th Monkey and Negros tou Moria are supporting.
