Photo Exhibition: "The Nude in Photography Today"
Where would the art world be without “the nude”? And who better to host a visual symposium on this age-old artistic obsession than Greece? Greeks practically invented the art form (okay, Italians might have had a hand in it too). With photography now taking over where marble and easel once led, the "The Nude in Photography Today" traces nude artwork from Greek and Roman sculpture to the fine art form it is today. The exhibition highlights the many different ways artists tackle “the nude”, from technical to philosophical, via a body of photographic work from artists in Greece and around the world. Prepare to blush.
