Generations: Music & Family Fun at SNFCC
School’s out for the summer. Great for the kids, not always that great for parents who need to come up with a plan for quality family time. Step forward the SNFCC. Their highly successful Generations Festival is back on the last weekend of June with free entrance. You've got face painting, bicycle workshops, soap bubbles, reading clubs, treasure hunts, board games, boat races and tonnes of adventurous activities to take part in. Normal age conventions don't apply here: you can be the one blowing bubbles as your toddler gets down to Andy Smith’s (ex Portishead DJ) grooves or Dan Donovan’s '80s throwbacks. We won’t judge. There shall be food trucks and treats, of course, and there’s always Canal Cafe’s light-flooded patio for a lovely sit down meal. So that's quality family time sorted.
