Syntagma Square Christmas Live Concerts

No more countdowns, you’re up Mr. Santa! Christmas has arrived in Athens and the Municipality’s programme has been announced. This year’s 21-metre-tall tree will be lit up on December 1st at Syntagma Square followed by the season’s first grand party, with the Athens Big Band, local singers and TV presenters taking over the set stage in the middle of the square. There’s a great array of live concerts for all tastes and ages programmed by the City throughout December—up to three per day—so there’s little chance you won’t get tangled up with the season’s spirit if you’re around downtown.
