Release Athens Festival 2024: Duran Duran

Sceptical about what a 40-year-old pop band can bring to the stage in our TikTok era? Clearly, you haven’t been keeping up with Duran Duran. Thankfully, Release Athens Festival has. Fresh off their critically acclaimed gothic-themed album Danse Macabre, the legendary Brits have wowed both fans and critics alike with their playful yet dark twist on their classic sound. Expect to hear all-time favourites, tracks from their latest album, and some surprising covers from artists like Billie Eilish and The Rolling Stones.

Joining Duran Duran in their Greek debut are Sofi Tukker, the Grammy-nominated dance/pop duo known for their infectious beats and Brazilian flair. Their vibrant live shows have been a hit at festivals around the world, and they promise to bring their signature "playful, lush and full of bright colours" performance to Athens.

As per usual, Release offers multi-ticket options. For example, you can pair a Duran Duran day with that of Cannons or Massive Attack at a discounted price. Not bad at all!
