KRAMA Festival 2024
Join the local youth for the 5th annual KRAMA Festival—a fantastic two-day event dedicated to exploring experimental and contemporary art forms across three stages. Set in the industrial PLYFA complex (the former Athens Knitting-Weaving Works), the festival invites you to experience the work of over 25 artists through live performances, visual installations, and DIY workshops.
KRAMA (meaning mixture, amalgam) will mix music and art in more ways than one. Discover a diverse range of musical genres, from free improvisation and experimental electronics to avant-garde and future pop. Highlights include Abyss X's multimedia piece exploring female resilience, Krista Papista's politically charged Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sounds, and Jay Glass Dubs' tribute to Vangelis Papathanassiou.
Top performers include Vercetti Technicolor, MIZI, Giannis Arapis Trio with Michalis Siganidis, and Anatolian Weapons. Krama also brings you the captivating visual artistry of Alexandra Niaka, Erato Tzavara, and Natalia Manta, complemented by breathtaking installations from KEIV and Studio Precarity. You can even craft your own synthesisers at the Optollator Oscillator DIY Workshop. Don't miss out on this extraordinary celebration of creativity.
