Panhellenic Beach Volleyball Finals at Syntagma Square

We bet you didn’t expect to catch dives and spikes in the heart of Athens in mid-July. For four action-packed days, Syntagma Square will be transformed into a vibrant beach volleyball arena for the finals of the Panhellenic Beach Volleyball Championship. Think of it as a teaser for your next visit to the Athens Riviera, organised by the City of Athens in collaboration with the Culture, Sports, and Youth Organization of the City of Athens and the Hellenic Athletics Federation. For the third consecutive year, Greece’s top eight men's asnd women's teams will battle it out for the prestigious 2024 national championship title in an exciting urban beach setting. Check into the city centre, pick a shady spot under the square’s trees, and join the locals in cheering them on.
