Release Athens Festival presents a night of cutting-edge rock at Water Plaza in Palio Faliro. Headlining are IDLES, the celebrated Bristol quintet whose raw, genre-defying sound has redefined modern rock. Known for their unflinching lyrics tackling issues like toxic masculinity and depression, IDLES strike a compelling balance between fury and vulnerability. With a string of acclaimed albums, including 2024’s TANGK produced by Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich, they’ve cemented their status as one of the vital voices in the genre today. 

Joining them are Glass Beams, the enigmatic Australian trio weaving psy-rock tapestries with Indian classical influences. Their hypnotic live shows blend East and West into a seamless, danceable experience.
