Jazz at the Museum: George Kontrafouris Trio
Having recently opened its doors to the public, the Goulandris Museum of Modern Art kicks off with a series of jazz concerts dedicated to the greatest artists of the genre. First up, a tribute to the unorthodox piano genius Thelonious Monk. Internationally acclaimed musician George Kontrafouris and his Trio will do the honours. We feel like Thelonious will be in great company next to Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet and Pollock, so if a visit to Athens' latest cultural beacon was on your list, this is your ticket.
