Slaves, Wives and Brides: Roles and Lives of Women in Iraq
Dutch journalist and author Judit Neurink has lived in Iraqi Kurdistan for over eight years, reporting on the Middle East. She comes to Lexikopoleio to present her book, "Slaves, Wives and Brides" which tells the stories of women within ISIS. Whether they joined voluntarily, were kidnapped and enslaved, or married to one of the group's members, Neurink sheds light on the relationships these women have with the radical Islamist group. Come ask your questions, whether you've read the book or not, for you will definitely have many.
