Summer 2024 at SNFCC

If you're looking for the ultimate summer hangout, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre has got you covered. Think lazy walks along the Canal, breathtaking sea views from the Lighthouse, and cool evenings filled with music, film screenings and exhibitions.

The "Parklife" concert series is back, bringing international talent to the Great Lawn. Mark your calendars for Buena Vista All Stars on June 29, Devendra Banhart on July 25, and a spectacular Queen tribute by the National Symphony Orchestra and Choir of ERT on September 8.

Movie buffs, rejoice! The popular "Park Your Cinema" series returns, treating you to enchanting open-air screenings beneath the stars. In collaboration with the Thessaloniki Film Festival, they have curated a programme that brings together timeless classics and exciting new favourites. 

The "Full Moon Sleepovers" on July 21 and August 19 promise all-night fun with games, movies, and activities under the moonlit night sky. And if sunsets are your thing, the "Wednesday Sunset DJ sets" are a must, starting on July 17.

Since summer in our parts last well into late October, the SNFCC has also marked dates for its "Green Weekend" in September (21 & 22) and its popular "In Orbit" music festival on October 4-6. But more on those further down the road.

Last, but not least, don’t miss the ongoing series of outdoor exhibitions featuring works of visual artist Alex Mylona and photographer Pepi Loulakaki, found at the Esplanade and at the park’s perimetre, respectively.
