Athens Photo Festival 2024
Constantly reinventing itself, the Athens Photo Festival is a biennial event championing diversity through the celebration of photography and visual culture. The 2024 edition features over 100 international artists and will take place during the months of June and July at the Benaki Museum on Pireos 138 and in another 18 locations around Athens. Beyond exhibitions, the festival offers educational activities, networking opportunities, talent development programs, community outreach, and various public events.
Visit Greece’s longest-running photography festival to connect with 20 international experts, including festival directors, curators, publishers, critics, and editors, who will convene in Athens to meet and exchange ideas with participating photographers. If you're a photography enthusiast and you're in town this summer, the Athens Photo Festival is the place for you; engage with established professionals, promote your work, receive invaluable feedback, and create meaningful connections.
This year, the Young Greek Photographers platform supports the next generation, while many events foster dialogue and understanding between photographers, curators, and the public. HERspectives highlights female photographers, and Refugee Voices showcases refugee photography, providing a platform for sharing their stories and perspectives.
