One of the most anticipated albums of 2024 was Lives Outgrown by the one and only Beth Gibbons. And it certainly ranks among the year’s finest releases.

Now, just months after unveiling her long-awaited solo album—ten years in the making—Beth Gibbons graces Athens with her spellbinding presence. With the support of Release Athens Festival, we get to enjoy her imposing presence at Athens’ iconic hilltop stage, the City of Athens Lycabettus Theatre. We know that you probably think of Roads, Wandering Star, and Sour Times, her Portishead-era classics. But  Lives Outgrown is as personal as it gets and blends English folk, with jazz and progressive rock as she moves away from her trip-hop roots.
