9th Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival

What sort of festival would you expect to attend at an open-air theatre opposite the Acropolis? Perhaps some stagings of works by ancient tragedy greats, like Aeschylus and Euripides? What if we told you that you could also take part in a much more multicultural fiesta?

The very popular amongst travellers Dora Stratou Theatre presents the 9th edition of the crowd-favourite Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival that will take place at the lovely al fresco theatrical space of the Philopappou Hill. The three-day festival mostly focuses on dance including 14 dance workshops from renowned local and international choreographers, two fascinating shows (on July 1st & 2nd) that will showcase a rich variety of dance styles, as well as the 8th International Bollywood Dance Competition (July 1st) that will be divided into two levels; (amateur and professional); and two categories (solo and group). But, that's not all. Make sure to be there on June 30th for the grand opening party at the seaside venue of Macaw beach bar, and also make room for the bazaar goodies and snacks that will be aplenty during July 1-2.
