John Knight: Headshots, a work in situ
Conceptual art pioneer John Knight sees art where most of us merely see objects: in advertising posters, letters, bicycle bells, souvenirs, credit cards—even spirit levels. In fact, to this veteran Californian artist, art is everywhere but inside the frame. Headshots, a work in situ will make you question the role and value of art in today’s marketplace, as well as the architectural and ideological boundaries of the traditional museum and exhibition space. Drink it all in at The Intermission, a new exhibition space just opened in Piraeus that will spotlight established and emerging artists of international influence.
