Mythologies | New Terrains | SNFCC

The SNFCC Dome - where Summer Nostos takes place every year, amongst other events - becomes home to an alternate space where sculptures, installations and an augmented reality application present a different take on ancient Greek mythology. Theodoros Giannakis, Petros Moris, Panos Profitis, and Valinia Svoronou are the four artists funded by SNF ARTWORKS, the centre’s Artist Fellowship Program, who step into the ongoing exhibition "Mythologies | New Terrains”. The four artists bring in their interpretations to mythological figures like harpies, sphinxes and gorgons, remixing beliefs of the past with alternative interpretations as if out of science fiction in thirteen works.
