SNFCC Microcosmos 2022-2023

What does the term "neoclassical'' bring to mind? Those of you thinking architecture should know that it’s also a music genre nowadays, as numerous pioneering producers of classical music use, or build on, electronic elements to further expand on the genre. So it’s a new approach to classical music, hence neoclassical. 

Here comes Microcosmos, SNFCC Cosmos’ more experimental sibling. The Microcosmos concert series features international composers of classical music who are pushing the boundaries of the avant-garde. America's first female synth hero Suzanne Ciani kicks off the series on October 23rd. Swiss accordionist Mario Batkovic follows on November 20th, and Italian multi-instrumentalist Federico Albanese on December 4th. Then the series will take a short break and return on March 5th with genre-defying composer Peter Broderick.
