A Sweet Dawn – 14 Stories about Athens Under Occupation
The latest addition to the rich program of 1974 & 1944: Athens Celebrates Its Freedom features the work of fourteen Greek comic artists. Titled A Sweet Dawn – 14 Stories about Athens Under Occupation, this exhibition showcases comic strips by well-known Greek artists who have attempted to capture the everyday lives of those who dreamed of brighter days during the Nazi occupation.
The exhibition is hosted at one of the Technopolis City of Athens venues. This former gasworks factory has been reimagined as a versatile space for various cultural events, blending industrial charm with historical significance.
