5th Athens Short Film Festival
Good things come in small packages. This year’s Athens Short Film Festival brings to us 13 independent short films from all over the world. After a two-year absence, the popular festival returns to Mikrokosmos cinema with screenings that explore social, political, and gender issues. From documentaries to absurd tragicomedies, it covers a wide range of genres and invites us to enjoy music videos, animation and experimental shorts. This is where we usually tell you to check out the programme and plan your screenings, but since it’s about short films, it’s definitely worth catching them all.
