Okay, so we just pulled that number out of the air. Truth is, Athenians don’t keep score. Whether it’s a free music festival, a rooftop film premiere, a groovy art pop-up - or the latest new urban hangout throwing open its doors with a pavement party, there’s always an infinite tally of things to do in our restless metropolis.  Staying in isn’t really our jam. We’re not saying we invented culture or anything … (but we kinda did).

Those ancient Athenians loved a good festival. Just ask Dionysus. Not much has changed. Whether you’re into avant-garde theatre beneath the Acropolis, or seaside gigs with global acts, Athens has a festival with your name on it.
