The Greek National Opera is restaging the Tony Award-winning, coming-of-age musical Into the Woods. After sold-out performances in 2020, it's time for a reminder of the season's more subtle theme: be careful what you wish for.
Join the protagonists, heroes born from the creative minds of the Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault and Walt Disney, in this dark tale of endless twists and turns. Talented actress and singer Nadia Kontogiorgi takes on the challenging role of the Witch, the orchestrator (or is it just villain?) of the whole tale. If you've reached the point in your life where "happily ever after" sounds like a tired cliché, Stephen Sondheim’s mega-classic is the play to help you cross it off your New Year's resolution list once and for all.
