Gamers Lounge Hype Festival

Gamers in Athens are in for a treat with the first ever Gamers Lounge Hype Festival, which is taking over the Old Depot Station for an entire weekend. A dynamic playground for gamers of all stripes, GLHF (which in the gaming world is a salute that stands for Good Luck Have Fun) is a fusion of e-sports, video games, street culture, music and cosplay.

For those into gaming, whether it's the strategy of League of Legends, the battles of Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter, or the precision of football and basketball sims, there's plenty to dive into. Beyond the digital realm, the festival celebrates urban culture with graffiti displays, skateboarding, BMX stunts, and breakdancing. Creative minds can explore the Arts & Crafts area, capture moments in the photo booths, or join workshops with experienced creators offering insider tips and tricks. Mini escape rooms provide a quick and intriguing challenge, while card game fans can enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece tournaments or search for rare cards with fellow enthusiasts. Performances by popular Greek rap artists such as Marseaux and Mikros Kleftis x Tsaki will add to the weekend vibe. 

With both GLHF and Gameathlon happening on the same weekend, gamers in Athens are in for a marathon.
