Athens Big Band Presents the Swing Era

Get your dancing shoes, we're going swinging. The Athens Big Band teams up with the retroheads of Athens Lindy Hop and take over the stage of Olympia Municipal Music Theatre Maria Callas for a night of charleston, tap, swing and the blues. Popular Greek singers Tzeni Kapadai and Stavros Romanos will perform together for the first time and guide the audience through a journey to the roaring 20s, New York's big bangs, New Orlean's ragtime and Hollywood's glamour. A proper Great Gatsby party in a historic Athenian venue.
