Athens Music Week 2020: Phygital Edition
Athens Music Week is back for its sophomore edition this summer. The international music conference/festival has a very important question to answer: now what? What does the post-COVID-19 future hold for festival organizers, artists, musicians, managers and music tourism? How has the music industry been affected by travel bans? How much can we rely on digital broadcasts and will the experience of a live concert ever be the same again? This year AMW has opted for a phygital edition—part physical, part digital—with webinars, talks with Q&A sessions, showcases and live performances available for both physical attendance in Technopolis and live streaming.
