Thrasy Petropoulos
Thrasy has written about far too wide a range of subjects (from cricket to a public autopsy), So when he can write about travel he doesn’t think too hard before saying yes. Born in London, he worked for The Times, The Sunday Times and BBC (among others) before moving to Greece in 2005, where he was News Editor for the Athens News. In 2013, he headed up the International Media Office of Marketing Greece, which was set up to promote Greek tourism. What he loves about Athens? Easy. One Greek word sums it up… vavoura. Part chaos, part buzz. Totally itself.
