The Black Angels
Athens is gearing up for a blazing summer of music. The Black Angels are coming to spread their psychedelic rock wings above Fuzz Live Music Club. The Americans spent the last two years in their hometown Austin, Texas, recording their new album Wilderness of Mirrors. The result is, as you can imagine, heavily influenced by the pandemic and post-pandemic eras, political upheavals, environmental crisis, as well as their own personal battles during the band’s five-year hiatus. Underneath it all, however, they remain true to their signature melancholic-meets-hopeful sound and lyricism.
