Emmeleia World Festival 2024
The Dora Stratou Theatre, nestled on the slopes of Filopappou Hill in Athens, is an open-air venue dedicated to preserving and showcasing traditional Greek folk music and dance. The upcoming performance of the 2024 Emmeleia World Dance Festival, organised by the International Dance Council (CID UNESCO) does exactly this. Companies, duos, and solos across every form of dance from dozens of countries will perform at this historic dance theatre opposite the Acropolis of Athens, showcasing the richness and artistry of dance, immersed in a picturesque setting of historical significance.
