Under the Moonlight at Maria Callas Museum
Waltz into the world of opera legend Maria Callas under the summer moonlight. The newly established Maria Callas Museum and the Athens Conservatory are teaming up to host two special musical soirées on the full moon nights of July and August. Head up to the third floor of the museum and enjoy performances by the talented students of the Athens Conservatory, who will serenade the audience with arias and duets, with the stunning Acropolis in the background. Afterwards, head to the ground floor café for a stylish aperitif and don't forget to browse the museum’s shop for your very own Callas memorabilia. On both nights, the museum’s exhibition spaces will be open to the public, so make sure to pay a visit. The cherry on top? Both nights are on the house, but be sure to snag your tickets early as space is limited.
If you're still craving more moonlight action afterwards, the SNFCC has planned two sunset-to-sunrise programmes on both dates, including film screenings, silent discos, and sleepovers.
